Blackheads, known also as open comedones, are a common problem to most of us. They are hair follicles but with a wider opening than the normal hair follicles. They are filled with sebum and dead cells and the substance clogged in the pores turns black due to melanin reactions.
In order to get rid of acne, you need to empower yourself with lots of perseverance and patience because there is no such thing as a miracle cure with quick effects overnight. Moreover, this process can really only work only from the inside out by using special cleaning agents that keeps bacteria control on the skin and removes the excess of dead cells.
Please note that acne cannot be cured with products based on chemical. Moreover, many substances used as facial cleansers, especially the one containing oils or nuts or other exfoliating agents, they may sometimes do more harm than good to the skin by depositing “clogging agents” and transforming the skin into a more sensitive area against bacterial infections.
A natural powerful ingredient to fight against sebum and bacteria is lemon juice. Lemon is known as natural disinfectant and can be used for cleaning blackheads and closing the pores. Another ingredient recommended for skin face is egg white that lights up the skin, providing rejuvenation and lifting facial effect. Combining the two, you can obtain a natural homemade cleaning mask to remove blackheads. It is recommended that this mask should be applied after the face has been cleaned. Please note that it is not recommended to apply this mask if you already applied another type of face mask in the same day.
– one egg white;
– one teaspoon of lemon juice (that has been freshly squeezed).
Mix the two ingredients in a small bowl. Apply the composition on the entire face, being careful to avoiding the eyes and eyelids.
If needed, you can apply two coats of this mixture. The mask should be let on for about 20 up to 25 minutes. When it dries, you will feel that it is ready to be removed because it will become thick and it will easily go down peeling it. Simply peel the mask off using your fingers. On the areas where it is more difficult to remove try using a chamomile-based astringent that has calming effects.
