When you dye your hair at home you will stain your skin. It’s inevitable and it mostly happens on the ears and on the forehead. Rubbing the areas is not pleasant, so here are some tips on how to prevent the stains and how to remove them easier than ever.
Prevention is best
When you prepare to dye your hair you can prevent skin staining by applying a thick cream on the hairline and on your ears. Your neck is also prone to staining, so it won’t hurt to apply the cream there as well. You can use a fat cream from the store, Vaseline, balm or conditioner.
Remove dye stains in the blink of an eye
To remove the stains on your skin after coloring your hair you can drip couple olive oil drops on a cotton swab and gently rub the stained area.
Another trick is to spray some hairspray on a cotton pad and wipe the stained skin. This works right after the dye fell on your skin.
You can also mix baby oil and cleanser in equal parts to remove dye stains from your skin.
