How to clean coffee and tea stains from mugs

Coffee stains from the thermos are “famous” for their tenacity. Use a teaspoon of baking soda and boiling water and fill the container with this solution. Let it stand a few minutes, then shake well and pour out the liquid. Rinse thoroughly with cold water. A jet of lemon juice will increase even more the effectiveness.

Coffee filters need “superspecial”cleaning from time to time. Use the procedure described above, then soak in water the filter holder and sprinkle some baking powder on it. Let it stand 10 minutes, then rub it thoroughly on all sides with a toothbrush. The result is magnificent!

Tea stains from plastic cups are removed in the following way: Fill a bowl with boiling water, dissolve  1/2 cup of baking soda in it and soak in liquid the messy plastic cup, for 30 minutes. Pour it out, rub it well with a sponge, then rinse.

Clean them regularly, using the following recipe: Fill the kettle with water, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and the juice of half a lemon. Plug the device into the outlet and leave it to boil several times in a row, each time leaving it to cool for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly before you use it.
