How to remove stains from cotton

Mold stains
Unfortunately mildew is a problem that extends not just in the bathroom, kitchen and other wetlands in the house, but also on fabric.

If you discovered a mold stain on your clothes you just have to put your clothes in the washing machine, and besides detergent to add a cup of white vinegar.
Also, do not forget to remove all clothing from the closet and check if it have the same problem. Unfortunately mildew spreads quickly and is very harmful for health. To prevent mold growth, in the future, you should ensure that your clothes are not stored in a humid or very hot space. Keep the room well ventilated every day, regardless of season.

Makeup stains
Lipstick and foundation can be removed from cotton fabric by simply washing it with water, detergent and baking soda. Soak the clothes in a basin in which you added hot water, a tablespoon of detergent and a bag of baking soda. Leave it to soak  for 30 minutes and then rinse it under running water clean.

Ink stains
First, it is recommended to immediately put the stained fabric under running warm water so it won’t dry  on the cloth. Then soak the cotton in a mixture of water, a tablespoon of baking  soda and a cup of white vinegar. After 10 minutes soak the clothes in clean water with detergent and wash it manually.

Red wine stains
Soak the stained fabric in cold water for 10 minutes (or longer if the stain is fresh). The water will soften the fabric and will make the stain easier to remove. Apply directly on the stain a cup of white vinegar, then soak clothes in hot water with laundry detergent.

Oil stains
If the stain is fresh immediately try to absorb excess oil with a paper towel. Wet the stained area and apply it thickly baking soda. Spread it on  the area with your finger, let the product  act for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Blood Stains
Blood is a real problem for your fabrics. If the stain is not removed when it is still fresh, you will have many headaches. It is best to quickly apply shampoo or shower gel over the stain and rub the area with your finger until the product penetrates  the fabric. Rinse with warm water and repeat the same step until the clothes remain clean.
