In the last few years, more and more cosmetic products based on oat came on the market as a cure for acne. Oatmeal has numerous properties and it is perfect for most skin types. Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory properties, contains saponins (a cleansing agent), it is moisturizing, treats skin problems (acne, rosacea, rashes) and can relieve symptoms of aging skin.

Wait until it dries and the surface becomes crusty and then rinse off the mask with warm water. This mask works by absorbing excessive oil and bacterias that cause acne. To treat effectively the acne use this mask twice per week.
Oatmeal can be an excellent face scrub. Put raw oats into warm water and let it moisten up for 3-4 minutes. Don’t let it become completely soaked. Apply the oatmeal on your face and with a soft cloth and gently massage the face areas.
In the morning you can make a quick face mask by mixing 2 tablespoons of oat powder with 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of milk. After the mixture has been made, apply it to face and neck and leave it for 15 minutes. This homemade mask will treat your acne due to the curative properties of oat and honey and will leave you face smooth due to milk and honey that actions on skin cells by hydratation.
It is important to know that acne can be cured by using natural remedies like oatmeals. You should also know that this curative effects of the oatmeal must be completed by a body detoxification program to remove the bacteria that cause acne. Exercising, eating lots of fruit or vegetables and drinking at least 8-10 glasses (250 cc) of distilled water per day, will help your body’s immune system to fight against the bacterias and external factors of skin aggression (pollution, dust, UV, etc.). It is also recommended to consume oatmeal in the morning because oats are full of fiber and just one cup contains more than 10 grams of protein. One bowl of breakfast of oatmeal contains a right mix of proteins and carbohydrates that will keep you fuelled during the day.
